It’s that time of the year again. Fall is in the air and Apple is set to announce this year’s line of new iOS devices (like they do every September), along with releasing a new version of iOS. iOS 9 has new encryption requirements that break existing MDX-wrapped applications. Like in previous years, Apple has made changes that affect how Citrix XenMobile MDX-wrapped apps work, meaning that customers supporting Apple iOS devices will need to re-wrap any apps wrapped with the MDX Toolkit AND install new versions of the Worx apps.
Our advice to customers is to send their end-user community communication to hold off from upgrading to iOS 9 until they have had the time to prepare. If users upgrade to iOS 9 before IT has had the opportunity to address the new requirements, their Worx apps will not work at all.
